Post1. WHY DID I CHOOSE THIS CAREER/STUDY PROGRAME?

First, I talk about my dream jobs as I was a child. I wanted study to be a veterinarian. I always have loved the animals and I wanted to spend more time with them. Then, something happened with dog surgery. Something turned out wrong, so I decided to choose another career.

A couple of years later, I started to interesting to jobs like architecture, geology and arts. However, one day, I “met” my uncle (really, I don’t see him for a very long time), and he is a sociologist. He told me about his career, and I thought that it is impressive. I never had heard of The Sociology before, so, I began to investigate relating to this wonderful study programme. And I fall in love! I love especially the way of perceiving the world, and how, on my college, they teach the history for understand the social structures and process.

When the choose time has arrived, I took the Sociology as a First option; then, I register Plastic Arts as a second option on the same study campus. And this is all. I was very sure of my decision, without vocational problems. Fortunately, the score it was enough, and today I am studying sociology on University of Chile, not much more than one year ago.

This year is my first in person classes. More than one month have already passed and, in my opinion, I don’t have any problems to adapt myself, and, of course, meet new very nice people. I think that the University in person have a lot of benefits. One of theirs is that I, personally, learn much more and better than I learned on online classes. I extremely disagreed with that impersonality system.

Finally, in my point of view, I don’t know exactly what I want to do or what is my dream job, jet. But I really know that I like very much the politics and the topic of de sexual education, connected with the actual feminism movement.
